ISO 9001

Mayr-Melnhof Karton was one of the first companies in the cartonboard industry to introduce a quality management system according to the international standard ISO 9001 and to be awarded certification for it. Meanwhile, all mills of the cartonboard division have been certified.

In addition to the internal advantages of a quality management system – efficient procedures and processes, defined implementation regulations and, above all, continual further development – customer satisfaction is our main priority. It is our utmost objective to guarantee our customers consistent product quality and application-oriented product solutions at maximum levels of delivery certainty.

For us, quality management starts with marketing and market research in order to understand customer demands and to allow this information to be included in production at a later stage. Our suppliers are also involved in this process; this allows us to react quickly, innovatively and proactively to new demands.
