HACCP

It is part of our corporate philosophy to meet top requirements in good time.

A large part of our cartonboard output is delivered to the foodstuff and pharmaceutical industries. For obvious reasons, both have strict requirements for the hygienic purity of the product and consequently also for production. In order to live up to this challenge, we have also established the HACCP hygiene management system in our mills.

The recycling cartonboard interest group INREKA has transferred the HACCP standard for hygiene management - developed by NASA for space travel - to the cartonboard manufacturing processes. The HACCP system goes far beyond the traditional quality requirements for cartonboard as a product and also includes such important and sensitive parameters as personal hygiene, impurity and glass control, cleaning cycles, pest control and microbiology. 

The HACCP system exceeds the usual demands on carton board. It includes sensitive and important parameters, such as personal hygiene, contaminant and glass control, cleaning intervals, pest control and micro biology.
